As you may have heard, there's a new SP on the market, with a backlit LCD screen. Some speculate that this could simply be because LCDs are just coming backlit by default now, but regardless, this is now the ultimate original Game Boy playing device (since the Micro can't play GB/GBC). What's the difference? S:NGP's Comic-Kaze has taken a video, linked here, comparing Iridion II. on both old and new SPs simultaneously. Colors are apparently a bit oversaturated, which was something developers compensated for earlier on (as seen with the multiple display modes for Final Fantasy Tactics), and the new SP is a bit heavier than the old one.
