News: Mimipan

Nepia World has put up a new "preview version" of their cute action game Mimipan (which stands for Mimizu Panzer, or "the earthworm-shaped german tank"). I feel forced to warn sensible readers that, although darn cute, the game makes you play the role of a german heroine which is nothing more than an elite member of the DAK and regularly faces an english lady rival for geopolitical domination over the Sahara in 1941... Though rest assured that there's actually no sign of any political awareness besides the little plot I just translated. Anyway, if the background doesn't upset you, the game itself is an interesting evolution of Snake mixed with a shooter. Only your main panzer (the "head") is vulnerable, and the parts that can be lit by enemies' bullets may be used as flamethrowers afterwards provided you manage to shoot them with your own cannons yet without crashing on your own convoy. It's simplier to play than to describe, really.
