News: Final Fantasy XII potion

Squenix, ever the EA of japan, has a new tie-in to promote the latest in the FF series. They've partnered with Suntory to create Final Fantasy XII 'potion', a soft drink from the stalward japanese foodier. According to the Game Watch article, the proposal actually originated from Suntory, as Suntory Food Division Manager Kazuhiro Saito claimed that many of his workers, young and old, enjoy Final Fantasy (though this is clearly traditional rhetoric). The drink will be something like a relaxing tea, and you can see preliminary bottle design here. Naturally, Squenix also announced some cards with the characters and bottles depicted, and the inevitable Final Fantasy XII potion premium box. In other news, famed violinist Hakase Taro will contribute to the main theme, which will hopefully get him enough money for a haircut.
