blastarena.png Blast Arena Advance is an incredibly professional, if incredibly difficult, little homebrew game made by Mathew Carr for the GBAX 2005 Coding Competition, which, though previously available freely for download for users of Visual Boy Advance or GBA flash carts, is now available in cartridge form for the first time, sans box or manual, for £6.50 (approx $11.50, worldwide shipping included). The closest comparison for this game is an abstract, pacifistic Robotron 2084, as you avoid shrapnel to collect yellow squares over the background of a waveform that oscillates in time to the music. I think it's rather lovely, and well worth the paltry asking price. (note - this entry was written by mathew kumar, who doesn't have a login yet)

Update: hell, no more left. Let's ask him to make more?
