News: Another lost mario

This is a bit old by now, but I was sent a link to a discussion of Nintendo's involvement in the development of the CD-i. Or at least...it's supposed to be about that. There's quite a bit more in there about how Phillips was already making game machines, and whatnot. There's a bit of info I hadn't seen though: a planned Mario FMV game, in which Mario would be rendered in CG and tour america - the game was to be called Mario Takes America, and developed by Acigam (two guys in Canada). Turns out it was awful, and was never finished, a route that should have been taken by so many other FMV games.
