This majestic piece of 1.5m tall plastic is the HY2M RX-78-2 Gundam, and it weighs in at 350,000 yen. Aimed at 20-40 year old men, the model kit also comes packaged with divorce papers for those with a spouse (the girl pictured isn't part of the deal). Clocking in at 35kg, the release is scheduled for 16th December this year.

In other related Gundam news, the PlayStation 3 game has finally been given a title; that being "Gundam: Target in Sight". It features mobile suits predominatly from the 08th MS Team era and boasts full terrain deformation as well as specific targeting of your enemy's mechanical limbs.

Finally, the PSP Gundam game released in October is apparently not going to be Capcom-esque but will feature various types of environments (land, sea and space).

Oh, and Gundam is popular with Japanese dads...apparently (though it only ranks fifth).
