luminous_01.jpgThis week's Famitsu also reveals the two latest productions from Marvelous Interactive for the DS. One of them is a new Boku-Mono [Harvest Moon] with 3D graphics. The other is Luminous Arc, a SRPG looking very similar to Flight Plan's work, with superlative character design, though it's being developed by Image Epoch. Much like we said with the Riviera remake or Jeanne D'Arc, this deserves a proper non-portable system as its home.

brandon's note: I hadn't heard of this company, so did a little research. They seem to mostly do outsourced game production work, recently doing graphic duty for Wild Arms 4 (in part). And Soutahouse says they're working on an original title for a next-gen system...this could either be the DS game in question, or something for the proper consoles. Either way, it looks like they don't have a very big dedicated game pedigree, and have operated mostly in an assist capacity for the past few years.

tim's note: looking over this famitsu over here, it becomes apparent that Yasunori Mitsuda is the "music producer", which qualifies the game as 100% insertcredit.com "PURCHASE GO" material. Coming this winter! Be prepared to be happy!
