So it begins. An intrepid PlayStation 3 owner has successfully upgraded the hard drive of the 20GB edition. Nice going though, especially considering that something like this has happened for the console's launch.

Ollie Update: There's some official blurb on the Japanese PlayStation support site basically stating that this "upgrade" is perfectly fine. Game Watch has also been kind enough to investigate this somewhat bizarre aspect of the PlayStation 3 further.
