Site news: Forums are dead, long live the forums

After a recent botched attempt to get the insert credit forums in line with my idea of what they should be (that's me, brandon sheffield - hi - sorry), it became clear that the website and the forums were sort of two parallel, but different entities. As such, the forums as you knew them have relocated here, to their own site, called selectbutton.net. Longtime forum stalwart Mister Toups is running the ship. In the interest of security and legality, all previous login data was whiped - you'll have to reregister there to join back in. There's also a nice clean archive of the old posts, for those who care to view it. I can't imagine how many dead links this is going to create in the news archives!

So, that's not to say these are the official insert credit forums now - they aren't - they are a continuation and extension of them, and insert credit itself will have no forums for the time being, until such time as we can figure out what shape we want them to take. Apologies for any inconvenience - I think we'll all make it through. It's a bit sad to part ways though - it's like watching your kids grow up. You're happy for them, but at the same time the house just seems so empty now.
