News: yuzo koshiro and Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune

If you don't know yuzo koshiro, well you suck. That's just it. His work with Streets of Rage has kept us all warm on many a cold evening. Anyway, recently driving in the automobile of a young man named ouendan (actually it was somebody else's car, but his ipod), I happened to hear the soundtrack to Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune, the arcade game. Turns out koshiro was responsible for it. It's trance music, and pretty decent trance at that. The icing on the cake is that the OST to the first game is actually downloadable from the official site. I highly recommend it! The site claims that this is his first time making trance music, but I think that's a bit debatable. You might even be able to find him at the very roots of the genre.

This all came out about two-three years ago, but I figured not many people knew about it. If you want more, you're going to have to buy it, but they do provide a page with some medleys of what you're getting.
