News: Galaxy Force II Neo Classic

Sega has put up a page for its upcoming Sega Ages version of Galaxy Force II, which has smoothed graphics (but also contains the original, as per the excellent Ages series trend). The shot for shot comparisons are pretty interesting here - click the bottom three photos for that. The secret page reveals that the game will support a true widescreen 16:9 mode, which looks very nice. All told, the game includes Neo Classic, the arcade version, the Genesis version, and the Master System version of the original Galaxy Force. Check here for some nice wallpapers, and some old arcade footage, as well as a glimpse of the very nice looking neo classic mode. Thanks to Jiji for the link.
