News: Otomedius official site

Konami's upcoming moeriffic arcade shooter Otomedius has an official site now - thanks to rid for noticing. It's got character profiles and stuff, but more importantly than that, it's got four gameplay movies, with five updates to come. I must admit though, it does look a bit generic, and seems to retain some of the slowness of oldschool horizontal shooters. Really not something I was hoping to say about this...let's just hope it plays fantastically somehow!

On the bright side, here you can see the results of an enquette regarding which classic Gradius shot patterns players would like to see in the game. Rather a nice gesture, but the results are far from surprising.
