News: Hello Kitty Xbox

hellokittyxbox.jpgProgrammingAce has put up some info and images of the Hello Kitty Xbox, which was oft-rumored, but previously not visually confirmed for a wide audience. To quote him: "Limited to ~500 units, and only available to those who purchased a $5,000 Hi-Def TV from a single retailer in Singapore, it's no wonder the thing is hard to find. " And apparently even when you bought the TV, you still had to pay $99 for the Xbox itself. Ouch! The image on the Xbox is not a decal either, it's painted on. One can only imagine how much this set the buyer back. But hey, if it comes with a game the caliber of Hello Kitty Mission Rescue, that's your return on investment right there.
