News: Captain McGrandpa - Memory of the Forgotten

CptMcGrandpa.pngCaptain McGrandpa - Memory of the Forgotten is a Gametap original game - a multiplayer text adventure helmed by Frank Cifaldi, who we all know and love (or at least should). It's happening today only (of all days, hmm?) on the Gametap forums. You type in a command, and the 'game' responds. It's pretty awesome so far. You have to join the Gametap forums to play, but you don't have to if you just want to watch! Here's the game's description:

"The latest GameTap Originals production, Captain McGrandpa – Memory of the Forgotten is the first truly multiplayer adventure game. Using brand new technology developed at GameTap HQ, an unlimited number of players will be able to shape the world and story around them, in real time, with limitless possibilities. Only as a community can we help Captain McGrandpa find his way. Are you up to the challenge? Or will your memories remain forgotten? Captain McGrandpa – Memory of the Forgotten, coming exclusively to GameTap April 1, 2008."

I especially like how you can tell who the real text adventure players are in the thread. It's all written by Frank on the fly, so it's pretty damned amazing!
