News: Cross Edge

You've probably heard this everywhere today, but Cross Edge, a collaboration of licenses from Capcom, Namco Bandai, Nippon Ichi, Idea Factory, and Gust was just announced. There's a scan around that's simple enough to find. The game appears to use a 'direct action' battle system, in which the face buttons are pressed to utilize specific skills. Characters can change form, and thus costume, depending on their status, and certain in-game events. There's also something about souls that I don't really understand! The developer/publisher is Compile Heart (the Agarest Senki team), the platform is PS3, and the genre is fantasy RPG. We'll see how they do.
