News: Tatsunoko vs. Capcom

Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes is the latest in the Capcom Vs series, and was just announced via Famitsu. If you don't know Tatsunoko, it's a famous and ancient anime company. Here's a wiki page and an official site. Famous properties include Gatchaman, Casshan (both of which are confirmed as having characters in the game), Speed Racer, Yatterman, Samurai Pizza Cats, Space Knight Tekkaman Blade, and basically almost nothing of note since the 90s, aside from co-producing Nurse Witch Komugi Chan and a pending Yatterman remake. The game seems to be 3D. It's coming this winter though, so we won't have to wait long for more info...

kurokishi edit: Tatsunoko doesn't own the rights to the original Robotech, only the host series Macross, Southern Cross and Mospeada. In addition, 15 meter tall robots against humans wouldn't really fit either. The ride armors from Mospeada could be an interesting addition though. Finally, Tatsunoko has had a hand in lots of more recent anime series such as the very popular Evangelion. Again, Evas against humans would be a tad...unfair?
